You know, most people these days think the same. Especially younger generation. Computer music has been the shit for like 10 years now while metal music is dying slowly. There are still a lot of "metalheads", but compared to 80s, that's nothing.
I don't get that good feeling when listening computer music... surely there are some nice songs, but i prefer songs with actual instruments and nice lyrics.

I don't get the argument that electronic lacks "soul" just cause it's not made with "real" instruments.. I mean pretty much every music genre these days are using computers to some degree to produce their music. Not like metal is acoustic either :p

I mean, listen to something like this and tell me that there's no atmosphere/soul/feelings to be gotten from electronic music:

Anyway, I'm not saying that metal is bad or anything.. Everyone has their own taste Smile

Yeah that song was quite the exaggeration. I don't really like the screaming in death metal. I prefer 80's hard rock & heavy metal. I have lately started getting into power metal and symphonic metal though.
